Cuvée Carat du Mesnil

As its name indicates, this champagne is composed entirely of Chardonnay from the vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

This wine is only produced in years which we consider to be exceptional.

The grapes come from plots of vines 60 years old or more that, due to their age, produce very small yields. These venerable vines give an alcohol potential of around 110 combined with a touch of acidity.

Long ageing, for almost 5 years, brings a long-lasting finish to the wine to add to the mineral characteristics for which Le Mesnil-sur-Oger is so renowned.

It is not an over-statement to say that this is truly one of the great champagnes.
